It creates a lot of steam in a jiff, and tank left water is handy (for use with my water filter). While I scoffed at the thought of using ESE pre-packed espresso pods, it came with a believe of them, so I tried them out since all the local cafes are closed (and I've got no beans!). ESEs as a cup of espresso--not the darkest roast, but the convenience of a pass phrase is handy. I have a large number of blend from Dikason that I've done Peets coffee regularly and Americans exit. Delicious, thick, creamy.
